The Spiff TV-directed video to "Child's Play" will be set in the Houston strip club V Live and possibly The Cheesecake Factory, too.
Though Drake's VIEWS, released at the end of April, has been by far the year's most successful album, none of its tracks have yet received a music video, save for the bonus track "Hotline Bling," which, of course, was the source of one of the most memorable videos of 2015. In May, Drake revealed that he wasn't in his courtside seat to watch his Raptors take down the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals because he was shooting the video to "One Dance," and at the end of last month, it was reported that the "One Dance" video was still in the works -- as he was spotted finishing up the shoot to the current No. 1 single (for the ninth week in a row) in South Africa.
Shortly after returning from Johannesburg, Drake has already begun working on a video to another VIEWS track -- the non-single "Child's Play." The news of the "Child's Play" video comes soon after Drake unveiled some new merch in support of the track. The video will take place in Drake's second home of Houston, Texas, and part of the visual will be set in the famed V Live strip club. Another possible venue for the shoot is The Cheesecake Factory -- the hilarious subject of the first lines of Drake's opening verse on "Child's Play" -- where he was spotted last night.
The "Child's Play" video is shot by Spiff TV, the renowned director who has already provided one of the year's most entertaining vids with French Montana and Kodak Black's "Lockjaw." Check out photos and footage from the set below, courtesy of the Drake fansite Word On Road.
