While he took a break to respond to Pusha T’s jabs delivered via the rapper’s DAYTONA album, Drake is back on his own album mode and has returned with a new single “I’m Upset” just a day after hitting us with “Duppy Freestyle” and a petty invoice.
While the title would suggest that Drake is repeating history by delivering on two diss tracks in one go, it looks like Drizzy is just back to promoting his highly-anticipated Scorpion album, set for release some time in June. It serves as only the latest in a thread of singles that have already earned Drake more than enough accolades this year.
On the cut, Drake’s frustrations are aired out in a less direct approach, focusing on a variety things that have got him, well, upset as he addresses things like those who undervalue his stake in the game and women who only want him for a check.
