Drake loves Doris Burke and he doesn't care who knows it. Given the chance, he would probably shout it from on top of a mountain.
ESPN's beloved sideline reporter, widely regarded as the best in the biz, recently sat down for an interview with New York Magazine and she spoke about the time that the Raptors' global ambassador sent her some signals during Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
According to Doris:
"I just could not believe this happened. Drake turned around—my seat at game six was right behind him—makes a heart shape [with his hands] and points at me. I'm looking around behind me to see who's there, turn back to him and then he points and he does it again. I texted my daughter and said, ‘You need to know Drake just did this to me.’"
Can anyone blame him? Doris Burke is one of the best NBA analysts in the game and sending a hand-shaped heart her way is the least Drake could do to show his appreciation for her craft.
If he really wants to prove his love for DB he needs to dedicate a song in her honor, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
