Drake Leads BET Hip Hop Awards 2016 Nominations

The BET Hip Hop Awards unveil the list of 2016 nominees.

As the fall approaches, that means the BET Hip Hop Awards are approaching as well. BET has unveiled the nominations for the 2016 Hip Hop Awards today, and Drake is leading the pack for the third year in a row. Geez.

The BET Hip Hop Awards will be filmed in Atlanta on September 17th at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, and they'll air on October 4th at 8 PM ET/PT. The host for this year's event has yet to be announced, although last year Snoop Dogg had the honours.

Drake leads the nominations with 14 to his name, including Album of the Year, Track of the Year (x2), Best Collabo, Duo or Group and MVP of the Year. His WATTBA partner Future comes in second with 10 nominations, including Best Live Performer, Album of the Year, Best Mixtape, among others.
