Drake may not have released an album in 2012, but he definitely had a big year. The Toronto rapper is nominated for 12 BET Awards, appearing in 4 of the nominations for Video Of The Year. Drizzy will compete against himself in his own videos for "HYFR" and "Started From the Bottom" as well as his guest appearances in 2 Chainz' "No Lie" and A$AP Rocky's "Fuckin Problems".
Kendrick Lamar and the omni-present 2 Chainz each pick up a notable eight nominations, while A$AP earns five, and Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, and Miguel each earn three.
Kendrick was humbled by his recognition when interviewd at the press conference. “I’m still fairly new at this thing right here, so to receive an award of this caliber means a lot to me." The Compton emcee will perform the night before the event at the BET Experience festival.
