Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino Among BRIT Awards 2018 Nominees

The nominations for the 2018 BRIT Awards have been announced. Stormzy, J Hus, Gorillaz, Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, Jessie Ware, and The XX, are among those nominated in the British categories. Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino, and Alicia Keys are the rap and R&B nominees representing North America.

The nominees for International Male Solo Artist are Beck, Childish Gambino, DJ Khaled, Drake, and Kendrick Lamar. Both Stormzy's Gangs Sign and Prayer and J Hus' Common Sense are nominated for British Album Of The Year, where they will compete against Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, and Rag’n’Bone Man. Stormzy and Jorja Smith are confirmed to perform, as are Dua Lipa, Foo Fighters, Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran and Rag'n'Bone.

Last year, Drake was awarded Best International Solo Artist at the show. The year prior, he performed "Work" alongside Rihanna. At the 2017 event, Stormzy joined Ed Sheeran on stage for "Shape Of You."
