If you’re unaware, Rihanna is set to receive the 2016 Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the MTV VMA’s this Sunday night at Madison Square Garden. To congratulate her for the accomplishment, rumored boyfriend, Drake, decided to surprise her with her own billboard Friday that read, “Congratulations to Rihanna from Drake and everyone at OVO,” which also included the OVO owl in the corner (see below).
Rihanna shared the pic on her own Instagram Friday evening with the following caption: “When he extra” next to a heart and trophy emoji.
Rihanna, who’s also set to perform Sunday night at the VMA’s, will join a past list of Vanguard honorees including Kanye West, Justin Timberlake, Beyoncé, Michael Jackson, and Janet Jackson.
