Drake is currently overseas at the moment for the International leg of his "Boy Meets World" Tour, and it looks like he had some friends come pay him a visit to watch. Late Tuesday night, Drizzy hopped on Instagram and share a picture with R&B singer Khalid kicking it backstage in Sydney Australia. He didn't leave any caption other than the "pin drop" symbol, but if the smile on his face tells us anything is that he’s a fan of the American Teen singer or at least cool with him.
Of course, Drake wasn’t the only one to share the picture as Khalid also took to his IG to share the black & white photo right around the same time. He too didn’t leave a caption either, other than a “shooting star” emoji whatever that means. Khalid just happened to be in Australia this week for his own tour, hence why he went to Drake's show.
The picture was just one of 11 pictures Drizzy shared on his Instagram page Tuesday night, early Wednesday. Most pictures were just of Drake on stage or backstage overseas, but we did get that one with Khalid (see below).
Since the photo surfaced online, some people are having fun talking about the idea of possible collab between to the two artists. “Need to collab ASAP”, “this song would be fire,” & “Epic” are just some of the comments fans are leaving in Drake’s IG post.
This photo comes just hours after Drake informed fans that he’s got new music for us coming soon. "I'm always working for you," he said to the sold out crowd. "I'm never sitting around, wasting my time, so I've got s**t coming for you, don't worry." Who knows when we’ll get to hear what he’s been cooking up, but something tells me we’ll get something before the Holidays.
