Dragon Ball Super: Broly is set to shake up the anime universe when it hits theaters in January. Teasers for the new film have been appearing online slowly, and the last trailer for the film left many fans confused. The backstories of characters like Goku and Frieza will be tweaked to make room for the legendary Super Saiyan Broly. Although Broly made his entrance into the Dragon Ball universe back in 1993, he will finally become canon. A new peek at the film has unveiled that Gogeta will be joining the Z fighters in the fight.

Gogeta is the fused form of Goku and Vegeta. They reach the Gogeta form by performing the Fusion Dance. Vegito, on the other hand, is a fused form of Goku and Vegeta in which Potara Earrings are used. In the new Dragon Ball Super: Broly clip, Gogeta shows off his base form before going Super Saiyan. After dodging a lethal assault from Broly, Gogeta goes Super Saiyan Blue. The scenes are pieced together from what appears to be a much larger battle. The rest of the Z fighters will be drawn into the epic fight, and Frieza will be joining the battle as well.
