Calabasas is home to some of the most well-known celebrities in the world, even being featured on several articles of clothing from Kanye West's Yeezy Season 4 and Season 5 lines. With Justin Bieber, the Kardashians, Toni Braxton and others having homes in the Los Angeles community, Calabasas can welcome a new star in Dr. Dre. The legendary rap figure has just purchased a custom estate in a gated Calabasas community, joining the many other celebrities who call the city home. While he owns several other properties, Dre spent a cool $4.9 million on the house, and the space looks amazing.
Nearly $5 million will get you astonishing views, a recording studio and a movie theater in Calabasas as the doctor's new home includes all of these. With almost 9,400 square feet of living space, the house has 6 bedrooms and 5.75 bathrooms. While it is notably less extravagant than the $40 million Brentwood compound he bought from Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen in 2014, the three-quarter acre lot is large enough to hold him down when he doesn't feel like living life in eternal luxury. With Dre and Eminem recently getting back in the studio together, maybe Em will show up at the new Calabasas joint to record in the acoustically engineered studio space.
