Dr. Dre Joins Anderson .Paak On Stage To Perform "Still D.R.E." In London

Dr. Dre came through for Anderson .Paak for a rendition of Dre's classic hit.

Anderson .Paak's currently gearing up to drop a new album in the near future. He recently dropped a new single and gave an update on what we should expect on his upcoming project. The singer was recently tapped by Dr. Dre and Apple Music to perform a free concert in London. While Dr. Dre wasn't listed as a performer, fans in attendance were graced with his presence.

Anderson .Paak brought Dr. Dre out for a special performance of "Still D.R.E" at Apple Music "One Night Only" event at the O2 Academy Brixton. .Paak's backing band held down the production with live instrumentation while Dre rapped his bits and Anderson .Paak played hypeman. Dre called Anderson on to hold down the melodic parts. After watching the performance, you could tell that the song's title still rings true.

Both Anderson .Paak and Dr. Dre have been working heavily in the studio. In a recent interview, Anderson .Paak stated that Dr. Dre has a "significant role" on his upcoming project. He confirmed the project's currently in the mixing stages and it should be dropping later this year.

In terms of new music from the Doc, there's been rumors floating around that he's been working on Detox. According to a reporter on ESPN who asked Dre whether we'll ever get Detox, he revealed that he was working on new music. More recently, Bootsy Collins revealed that he and Dr. Dre have been "putting stuff together" in the studio.
