After teaming up with D.R.A.M. earlier this Summer for the track “50/50,” VA newcomer, DP, decides to make his return to the site today with a new track called “Wait,” which WON’T make it onto his upcoming debut project Designer Casket.
Produced by Ducko McFli, “Wait” is only one verse, but it’s a powerful statement at that. In his signature style, DP mixes aggressive punchlines with street-acquired wisdom. He later raps at the end, “Old head told me it’s a marathon not a sprint nigga run your race,” which is a response to those who may wonder why he’s been silent for all this time.
