Donald Trump Introduces Apple CEO Tim Cook As "Tim Apple"

In the mind of Donald Trump, a surname is really just ad space for rent.

There have been far too many moments during Donald Trump's presidency, where his actions transmitted like SNL skits or worse, The Onion headlines. But in truth, the World is just wackier and far more perverse with Trump in the Oval Office.

By his own admission, semantics are quite puzzling (to the uninformed). The latest Trump gaffe rivals the "hamberder" incident in hilarity, for the sheer fun it poses, if only for a moment. The American public will surely reawaken to a far more perverse example of his narcissism in the coming days.

Apple CEO Tim Cook was seated next to Trump on the occasion of marking down his attendance for an American Workforce Policy Advisory Board meeting. Sadly, the proceedings were open to the press, where the opportunity often lies for Trump to paint himself into a corner while the tape's recording. As always, the 45th and current president of the United States would not disappoint with the light shined on him.

"We’re going to be opening up the labor forces because we have to. We have so many companies coming in," Trump said, as he formally introduced his guest speaker. “People like Tim — you’re expanding all over and doing things that I really wanted you to do right from the beginning. I used to say, 'Tim, you gotta start doing it here,' and you really have you’ve really put a big investment in our country. We appreciate it very much, Tim Apple."

This isn't the first time Donald Trump flubbed the introduction of a noted public figure. Not so long ago, Donald Trump found himself in a similar predicament when he introduced Lockheed Martin CEO Marillyn Hewson as "Marillyn Lockheed," I wish I were fibbing but I'm not.
