Michael Cohen, Donald Trump's personal lawyer, had his office and home raided by FBI on Monday to search for any information regarding the Stormy Daniels hush payment. However, sources reveal that the intent for this particular pursuit was broader than just the Daniels case, and included bank records.

Cohen's lawyer Stephen Ryan confirmed authorities "seized the privileged communications," between him and his clients. There were reportedly a dozen FBI agents involved in the raid, which also included the Loew's Regency hotel where Cohen is currently staying. Ryan continues to note how "I have been advised by federal prosecutors that the New York action is, in part, a referral by the Office of Special Counsel, Robert Mueller. It resulted in the unnecessary seizure of protected attorney client communications between a lawyer and his clients. These government tactics are also wrong because Mr. Cohen has cooperated completely with all government entities, including providing thousands of non-privileged documents to the Congress and sitting for depositions under oath."

Upon hearing the news, Trump expressed utter disgrace at the situation and its unjust invasiveness. Taking to Twitter, the Commander in Chief tweeted out two short, but ultimately scathing critiques of this latest development. First, Trump announced that "Attorney-client privilege is dead!" before boldly proclaiming that the raid is "A TOTAL WITCH HUNT!!!"

Speaking to reporters, Trump asserted that this situation is "a disgrace, it's, frankly, a real disgrace, it's an attack on our country in a true sense. It's an attack on all we stand for."
