Doja Cat is on a roll this year! The 26-year-old took home three American Music Awards last month, earned an impressive eight Grammy nominations for her efforts on Planet Her, and now, she’s back with a super hot new music video for one of the project’s biggest hits, “Woman.”
The video was reportedly directed by two powerhouses in the music industry – Janelle Monáe, H.E.R., and Teyana Taylor, and model Guetcha both appear. In the clip, Doja can be seen slowly crawling towards Taylor on a table, a sultry, powerful look overtaking both of their eyes. The Los Angeles native donned several outfits made of beautiful beads and intricate face makeup while rocking wavy dark hair; her many backup dancers are dressed similarly, coordinating their choreography with “Woman”’s sensual lyrics.
The first half of the visual is heavy on orange and gold tones, but in the second half, the vibe completely changes as we shift over to a more moody blue atmosphere, with the recording artist and her entourage shaking their booties in a pool of water. One of her last looks finds Doja rocking a gold bra and thong, an intricate head piece, plenty of jewelry, and a pair of Beats by Dre in her ears.
The new arrival feels like the “Ain’t Shit” singer at her best – dressed to the nines, singing her heart out, and shaking her curvaceous hips in perfect sync with the music.
