The anticipation for DMX's formal return is still high. Over the years, issues with the law and substance abuse have prevented him from making his triumphant comeback as planned. Earlier this year, he re-admitted himself into rehab to put his health first. Now that he's out, it looks like he's officially back in action.

DMX made his return to the stage at Hakkasan Las Vegas Nightclub where he hit the stage at the early hours of the morning, TMZ reports. Making his way to the club around 2 a.m., he arrived with his fiancee and a small squad before performing a slew of his classic records like "Ruff Ryders' Anthem," "Where The Hood At?" and "X Gon' Give It To Ya."

The publication reports that he was seen sipping on water and smoking cigarettes before his set. He also shared some inspirational words for his fans who were fortunate enough to see him live.

"When you fall down, get back up, everyone here has been through some s**t and you never know what God is willing to do for you until you need him to do something for you," he told the crowd.

X's return to the stage could be a strong sign that he'll be kicking off 2020 on a high note. It was reported earlier this year that he signed a deal with Def Jam so it looks like maybe a new project could be expected from X in the coming year.
