DMX was released from prison today, after being sentenced to 6 months in July for missed child support payments. X was released 3 months early because his attorney seems to have temporarily convinced the court that X was never made aware of these particular child support payments.
It's unclear if that means he wasn't aware that said baby mama was, in fact, his baby mama.
There's a hearing scheduled for some time in the near future, and the court will decide if X is indeed telling the truth about his ignorance of the child support payments.
For now, though, X is a free man. TMZ greeted the rapper, donning a fresh Ruff Ryders T-shirt, upon his release. Watch him embrace his friends and family below.
