Photos floated around the internet yesterday of radio personality DJ Whoo Kid being apprehended and put in handcuffs by police. Freshly out of jail, the always hilarious Whoo Kid, gave an interview on Sirius XM and revealed why he was arrested. Turns out, the G-Unit signee is not one to renew his license and was pulled over and when the cops ran his name he came up with 9 suspensions on his driver’s license, and was then put in jail overnight.
Taking it all in stride, Whoo Kid jokingly called it a “black thing” that he does not have a valid license, and says he has been driving without one for over a decade, “I had 9 suspensions on my license...13 years of no license...I didn’t have no ID, I don’t have a license.” He was surprised the cops in NY cared, “when you get pulled over in New Jersey they let niggas go man.”
Jokingly recalling his brief 19 hour stint in lockup, the Whoolywood host said he was fine once people figured out who he was, “They had me in there with homeless, drug dealers...I am pussy all the way, but when they figured out it was me, they were happy.”
He even called up 50 Cent while in jail, “I called 50, he laughed at me a little bit.”
