DJ Twin and his closest collaborator, Kingston's own Sean Kingston, have now dropped off two consecutive collabs of epic proportions. Twin recently organized a big-time session in his native Chicago and came out with "They Know Us," which found Kingston coolly bridging hard-noses street verses from the duo of Lil Bibby and G Herbo. A week later, Twin and Kingston have now linked us with another premiere: A smooth-riding boss' anthem featuring Yo Gotti entitled "Rubba Bands." As for the production? That comes from the all-star team of Metro Boomin and Southside.
Kingston has been all over Chicago and Atlanta amid his inspiring comeback. You may remember that he teamed with both Chief Keef and Metro Boomin on last year's "Murda Mook." His hooks are now designed for invigorating street collabs, and the lingering island inflections make songs like "They Know Us" and "Rubba Bands" ripe for the summer.
