"Lit" has officially become a part of the mainstream lexicon. For clarity on the word/state of mind, one should first consult the Turn Up God Juicy J. At age 41, he's committed to staying lit for all of his waking hours. Aside from the TGOD vet, two younger stars who have been lighting up the trap game are 21 Savage and Young Dolph. At the end of May, all three rappers teamed up to create the definitive sonic expression of how it feels to be "Lit." The track, hosted by DJ Scream, has now received an equally "Lit" video.
In the "Lit" video, 21 and Dolph hit the club, while Scream drops the quaking instrumental, coming from Mississippi's Durdy Costello. Juicy J shows up in the same car that was the inspiration for his new track and video, "Blue Bentley."
