DJ Mustard has made a name for himself with bay-infused 808 and snap laden production. Along with working extensively with artists like YG, Joe Moses, and Ty$, Mustard has branched out to work with bigger artists like Tyga, 2 Chainz, and Young Jeezy. It seems his collaborator list is about to get even longer and more diverse with the announcement that the beatmaker has signed a management deal with Jay-Z's Roc Nation imprint.

Industry exec Jay Brown will represent Mustard. "I'm excited to take my career to the next level with RocNation, and Jay Brown!" declared the producer in a statement. "Looking forward to working with RocNation artists."

J.Cole, Wale, Rihanna, and Jay Electronica are among the other artists signed with the Roc who may reap the benefits of having Mustard as a labelmate.

The DJ also plans to drop a mixtape June 3rd.

[UPDATE: DJ Mustard Signs To Roc Nation As An Artist]

Back in April producer of the moment, DJ Mustard, inked a deal with Roc Nation for management. Now the label and producer are taking their relationship to the next level, with Mustard signing on as an artist.

The small-growing roster of artists signed to Roc Nation include J. Cole, Rita Ora and Rihanna.

We offer congratulations to Mustard once more! Peep a video from Life + Times below, where Mustard discusses his future plans for an album and tour.

Concerning the new deal, DJ Mustard said in a statement that he's out to prove he's about more than just club bangers. "What I’m doing now is just trying to convert over and show people that I can do more than just club records. Just growing up and changing the outlook of what people think of me," the producer said.
