Hip hop mogul DJ Khaled will work his social media magic with WeBuyGold, a new brand that craft original online stories
In his latest move since the release of Major Key last year, superstar hitmaker DJ Khaled will take over the reigns as creative director for WeBuyGold, Billboard reports. The brand specializes in creating original content for various audiences on the Instagram.
The hip hop mogul is set to star in "Bless Up," a series of shorts that will follow Khaled as he entertains a lucky fan for a day. The show debuted Tuesday on WeBuyGold's IG feed.
"By working with WeBuyGold, we're to going tell stories in a new way about the biggest and up-and-coming artists across music," said DJ Khaled. "Our first show ‘The Bless Up’ embodies everything I am about. It’s an opportunity for me to show how grateful I am and share that with my fans by blessing them up."
WeBuyGold co-founder Dan Altmann added that Khaled was the perfect business partner for such an endeavor.
"Our vision at WeBuyGold is to pioneer new ways to tell stories on social and mobile platforms where we know talent and their fans are spending most of their time," he explained. "We couldn't think of a better person to join forces with than DJ Khaled as he shares our passion for storytelling on social media."
The brand has other series such as "MyAtlanta" with photographer Cam Kirk. It will give audiences a behind-the-scenes look at Atlanta culture and feature Migos, Mike WiLL Made It, Lil Yachty and more.
