DJ Khaled is quickly making a name for himself as one of the most devoted family men in hip-hop.
For all of his recent music success - and he's had that in abundance - the famed DJ/producer hasn't lost sight of what's most important in life, no matter the highs or lows: family. The man behind Grateful recently spend a well-deserved weekend getaway in New York City. He used it to spend some quality time with his partner, Nicole Tuck, and his son Asahd Khaled, who has already hit nearly 1.5 million followers on Instagram before his first birthday. Has there been a more famous baby ever in history? It's certainly a debatable topic...
That being said, despite his celebrity status, it was a trip of firsts for Asahd Khaled. He rode around Central Park in a horse-drawn carriage for the first time ever and he also made what will probably be the first of many stops at Benihana's. I say that because, based on how happy he is to wearing that paper crown, there's no way he's no going back. Where the wait staff is concerned, I'm sure they were hoping for another generous tip from Asahd's dad.
Finally, a weekend of Instagram updates from DJ Khaled wouldn't be complete without his son grooving along to "Wild Thoughts," the producer's current hit single and the song that was finally able to unseat "Despacito" from the No. 1 spot on the iTunes chart, which is an accomplishment in and of itself.
