Seems like everybody’s got an opinion on the Rick Ross and Jeezy beef, and the overwhelming response is that folks in the world of hip hop want to see the two squash it and move on to hopefully produce some stellar music together. One of the men that was front and center when the two hip hop moguls stood toe to toe at the BET Awards, is DJ Drama – who was also one of the first to report on the altercation. Drama is asking for an end to the friction between Rozay and Snowman and calls on T.I. to talk some sense into the two.
In an interview with Thisis50, Drama says he understands that the two will never be close, but he’d like to see them make amends and possibly collaborate, saying (via HHDX), “"Maybe [Young Jeezy and Rick Ross are] not gonna be friends, maybe they're not gonna go out to dinner, but hopefully, we can probably get some music from it.”
Although T.I. is on record saying he doesn’t care about other beef between Young Jeezy and Gucci Mane, Drama hopes T.I. might reach out to end this feud, "I'm thinking now that it's a public situation, maybe that somebody can step in. Maybe Tip can do it…Tip is both of those guys' friend; those are friends of Tip.”
Admitting that The King of the South, has more important things to look after, Drama still wishes he could intervene and believes the beef between Ross and Jeezy is manageable. “I'm not gonna say it's the first thing on his mind, but at the end of the day, just like of use - myself included…if it was something I could do, I would love to do that because I respect both of them,” the Quality Street Music DJ adds, “it doesn't seem like something that we can't get past."
