With “My Moment” being played all over, DJ Drama talked to Crisco Kidd about how he got together with Meek Mill.  The two are from Philadelphia, and their Philly roots played a part in them working together, “we got introduced through Meek’s old manager...a Philly legend... [at the] BET Awards about five years ago...Meek was fresh wide-eyed, looked like a little kid”.

Drama talked about the collaborations he puts together “people wanna see that haven’t happened...one record is with Waka [Flocka] and Tyler [the, Creator]...two people who I consider representing the culture quite well”.

2 Chainz is featured on the “My Moment” single, and on it he has lyrics about his father being locked up when he was born, and at the time when it was released 2 Chainz father was not-well, and unfortunately passed away the day the record was released.  When talking about the track, Drama adds “this one right here feels kinda special”.

For Quality Street Music, dropping September 18th, DJ Drama spoke about collaborations and features to expect, “I got some treats for ém...I got a record with Cee Lo that’s pretty amazing...some collaborations you might not expect... you might not expect a B.o.B. or a Wiz Khalifa”.

He confirmed that Iggy Azalea is “most definitely” going to be featured, and he is trying to get Trae Tha Truth in the studio.
