"I'm about to take y'all on a journey, get your weed rolled."

Dizzy Wright gave the fans his latest EP Don't Tell Me It Can't Be Done last month. The project features Don Rich and Logic on "Way Up" and "Dope Talent" respectively. Jazz Lazr and Kid Ink also make appearances. Now the artist sits down with us for an exclusive view of a solo song. In this edition of Between The Lines, Dizzy breaks down the lyrics of the project's title track.

He describes the state of mind involved in the creation of his bars as an "I'm just feeling in my prime. You know that young, active, you know, you will get dunked on, the girls is watchin'" type of vibe. He later cites his Slick Rick line in the context of storytelling. The Vegas artist takes authenticity to heart, as he makes sure his "stories aren't made up." The Funk Volume rapper likes to keep it 100, even when it comes to those who ain't rocking with him: "You gotta make the haters feel good by giving them a lil something, so that's what I gave them."

Share your favorite bars after the jump. You can also see the homie in action in the music video for "Me and Mine."
