Other than Curren$y and Boosie, Dizzy may be the most prolific rapper of 2016. He released Wisdom and Good Vibes EP and has a full-length LP on the way with Demrick. This morning he released "East Side," the first single from his upcoming EP The 702 EP. 702 is Las Vegas' area code, and fittingly, "East Side" is an ode to the Vegas neighborhood where Dizzy grew up.
In the video, he rides through his old stomping grounds in a bike. The beat combines Christmas bells, which would denote childhood innocence and ominous 808s. The song hints at similar themes Dizzy discussed in his HNHH cover story, which you can revisit here.
