Kevin Feige has spent the last decade crafting the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As head of Marvel Studios, Feige has executive produced every Marvel/Disney film from Iron Man to Black Panther. He has orchestrated the intersecting universes within the movies, and has planned the next decade of films for the future. Now that Disney has acquired 21st Century Fox, the X-Men and Fantastic Four will be under the same roof as the rest of their Marvel companions.

Disney head Bob Iger recently sat down with The Hollywood Reporterand briefly touched upon Feige helping bring the X-Men into the Avengers universe. "I think it only makes sense," replied Iger after being asked if Feige would be in charge of overseeing the X-Men. "I want to be careful here because of what's been communicated to the Fox folks, but I think they know. It only makes sense for Marvel to be supervised by one entity. There shouldn't be two Marvels."

Iger even hints that Deadpool may get involved. "Kevin's got a lot of ideas. I'm not suggesting that's one of them. But who knows?" stated Iger in reference to Deadpool. Expect the X-Men to make an appearance in the MCU in the next few years.
