At the top of the year, two of the biggest producers, Diplo and Mark Ronson, announced that they would be linking up to realease music, calling themselves Silk City. “Silk City is an homage to some of the greatest dance music cities Chicago, London, Paris, Detroit,” Diplo said. “Mark Ronson & I met as DJs 20 years ago & our paths have taken us everywhere since. It is great to get back together & make music.”
Today they have debuted their first single titled "Only Can Get Better" and it's pretty spot on with what you would expect from the two homies. It sounds like a usual house production with echoes of "feel good" and "get better" coming in over the head bobbing beat. It's the only single we've gotten from the duo so far, so we're excited as to what else is in store, and most importantly any possible features to add to the mix.
