It's been a couple of years since we've heard new music from Diggy Simmons, but it seems that he might be testing the waters for a potential comeback.
Yesterday, Diggy dropped a new track, a remix of Key! and Kenny Beats' "Dig It," off their new collaborative album, 777. While the choice might seem peculiar, it's actually fairly appropriate. The hook of the track directly references Run's House, the reality show that starred Diggy and his dad, Run DMC's Reverend Run.
Diggy takes on Kenny's production, and goes in with some hard bars and an aggressive flow. Only time will tell as to whether this will actually mark the return of Diggy Simmons to rap music, or if it was just a flash of creative inspiration.
