About two weeks ago, Diddy went 0-100 real quick on a UCLA assistant football coach, allegedly assaulting the man. Despite how crazy this incident seemed, the charges brought against the mogul (three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of making terrorist threats and one count of battery, all felonies) seemed a little excessive, especially after we learned that his actions might have been defensive. Well, now Mr. Combs can breathe easy for a minute, because the Los Angeles County district attorney has rejected the felony case against him.

TMZ reports that the case was thrown out less than a day after it hit the D.A.'s desk, and will now be referred to the city D.A. Diddy could still face misdemeanor charges for this.
