Meek has posted a screengrab of a text that may or may not be from Beanie Sigel.
Meek Mill may have just shared his response to Beanie Sigel.
Earlier today, Beanie leveled some criticisms against Meek on the Tax Season podcast. Within the conversation, Beans took issue with the way Meek handled his beef with Drake and suggested that the rapper is losing support in his city of Philadelphia.
A few hours later, Meek has shared a text message on Instagram which he implies was sent by Beanie prior to their disagreements. The text contradicts some of the statements Beanie made on the podcast.
"Them n*ggas can't rap better than you they swag no zero, they really pussy's on the low," reads the text. "N*ggas mad because you young fly Philly n*gga with a bad boss chick that stand for something ... You just the only one holding us down right now on some real shit."
Meek included some thoughts on the text, writing, "ONE MIN THEY TALKING LIKE THIS BEHIND CLOSED DOORS THEN THEY TALKING LIKE THAT? I CANT BELIEVE "n#%gas" went out like that ... THIS WHY I GOTTA CHANGE MY NUMBER LOL ... HOW CAN THESE N#%gas THINK THEY THOROUGH EVERYBODY ON THE "NEEDLE" that attention needle!"
The text also included some negative comments about fellow Philly rapper Lil Uzi Vert, claiming that Uzi couldn't hold the city down because he wears "pocketbooks and purple hair."
In response to that aspect of the text, Meek wrote "@liluzivert don't mind that shot that's how n*ggas talk when you winning!"
The opening of Meek's caption, "All good a week ago!" is also likely a reference to The Game's post earlier today. Game used the same Jay Z quote in a effort to diss Meek with a photo of a dead rat. As it happens, Meek's issues with Beanie came about through his beef with Game.
