Toronto artist Devontée is no stranger to HotNewHipHop, and now he's premiered a video over at Noisey for "Hunger Pains," the second track off his debut mixtape.
In the video Devontée takes us on a reverse journey to stardom, from lavish homes in the United States back to his family's house in Toronto. The visuals echo the song's lyrics about how far he's come, at one point prominently showing a custom neon sign that simply says "Thank You x." Directed by fellow Toronto native Rami Accoumeh, the video shows Devontée is going to stay hungry for more in 2016 despite how far he's come.
