Ahead of his The Life of Desiigner release, Desiigner has delivered on a new track, "Arms."
Earlier in the summer, the GOOD Music signee tapped Atlanta's Gucci Mane for a little help on his "Liife" offering and now as the arrival of his debut album closes in, he's given us a further preview of what he's cooked up.
Produced by 16YRSOLD, "Arms" doesn't stray too far from the Brooklyn emcee's signature delivery, coming packaged as a comparably laid-back track, and equipped with Super Mario-inspired artwork.
The Life of Desiigner will serve as the follow up to the rapper's New English mixtape released last summer.
Following the success of his "Panda" single, the young artist found himself embroiled in a bidding war in which labels fought to be the company behind his eventual rise to stardom.
Fittingly, he landed over with the great people at G.O.O.D and is now preparing to unleash the debut project that he's previously described as one of the greatest albums of all "tiime."
Singles like "Thank God I Got It," and "Holy Ghost," and the unveiling of autobiographical artwork also served as previews of the album, set to be executive produced by label heads Kanye West and Pusha T.
Can the effort live up to the grandeur that Desiigner has created for himself? Only time can and will tell.
"I got want you want, yeah
40 in my arms, yeah
And they sound like bombs, yeah
And they going dumb, yeah."
