Derez De'Shon, equipped with a deep, visceral, and melodic flow, is emerging as a vital part of the new Cash Money lineup. After appearing on a few Rich Gang collabs as well as Birdman's new single, "Balla Blocka," Derez is ready to let loose some of his own material. Tonight, he's shared two new tracks, both via HNHH premieres. Both are produced by the undeniable London on da Track. After dropping off "The World Is Ours," a collab with Ace Hood and K Camp, Derez has got more heat in the form of "Bullshit," featuring young Chiraq drill-star 600Breezy. No BS about this one.
"Bullshit" is a dark record, with steady, cascading flows from Derez and more sharp, biting ones from Breezy. As with most of Derez' records, there's a musicality about it that tempers the tough content in a pleasing way. Derez is currently working on his self-titled project, his first since his deal with Cash Money. Expect it to feature plenty of tracks with the deft London touch.
