Denzel Curry put out a favorite last week when he dropped “Flying Nimbus” in conjunction with his tour date announcement. Now he’s on another track, leading a bunch of his fellow Florida heads heads. This one is a simultaneously a diss against Raider Klan founder SpaceGhostPurrp and a tribute record for A$AP Yams. Given Yams penchant for talking shit (and SGP’s beef with A$AP Mob), the odd paring works.
The song is low-fi and gritty, beginning with ominous keys before hitting the listener with alternating bars between the emcees. It’s over quickly, but the huge bass hits and energy are more than enough to fill the 1:55 song and sometimes underwhelming lyrics. The former Raider Klan members do not hold back on their former leader.
