When some rappers prefer to spend their time perusing Instagram seeking DMS into which they might be able to slide, Denzel Curry is busy exploring the cathedrals of the world. Of course, such settings are the perfect backdrop for his Gothic inspirations, which occasionally bleed through into his music, including TA13OO's own "Clout Cobain." Now, months after dropping off the album's eerie video, Denzel has come through to lay down an acapella variation of the single.

Generally, acapella performances can be hit or miss, given that production plays a major role in the average modern-day single. Yet Curry's keen melodic sense makes this version "Clout Cobain" a dynamic listen throughout, as he deftly switches from the chanted-first verse, to the hook, to the rapped closing verse. All the while, the abandoned church backdrop keeps the spirit of the original video alive.

Peep the video now, and be sure to support Denzel Curry's TA13OO; we recently named it the third best album of the year, on our Top 30 Hottest Albums Of The Year list
