With Flying Lotus' upcoming Flamagra album set to arrive on Friday, the producer has come through to deliver a new collaboration with Denzel Curry, "Black Balloons Reprise." Taking to Twitter to provide a bit of backstory, FlyLo dedicated his latest drop to a few production legends. "That black balloons beat is dedicated to @madlib and @nowagain," he writes. "When I was in college I heard quas ”come on feet” it relit my love for sampling and eventually changed my world."

It stands to reason that the pair of influential producers would be proud upon hearing FlyLo and Zel's new collaboration, which has finally arrived in an official capacity. Given the track's "boom bap" elements, Denzel matches the tone accordingly, showcasing an effortless mastery of flow and imagery. "The Big Bang happened when the black balloon ignited, I feel the pain shoulder to shoulder as I was knighted," he spits, in the opening lines. "The night turns to day and my days don't seem the brightest." Overall, the song will likely please fans of both parties, and reveals the seemingly infinite potential of a trusted creative partnership.

Quotable Lyrics

The Big Bang happened when the black balloon ignited
I feel the pain shoulder to shoulder as I was knighted
The night turns to day and my days don't seem the brightest
It's like itis, I wanna take a bite out of what life is
If the President fuck around and piss off ISIS
Bury me in blueberry bills, jewels and ices
Lets connect from mind to mind
Lies are on the rise, increase to bigger size
Hard to victimize when evil's idolized
