As Charlotte, NC native Deniro Farrar builds a cult-like following, he's announced a new EP and leaked this new single off the project.
The rapper signed to Vice Records back in October, which followed the release of his Patriarch II mixtape in the summer. The MC has been relatively silent for a bit, but he's returned today with news of his Rebirth EP, the first project he'll be dropping since signing a deal.
"We’re running with that Rebirth, because it’s the rebirth of everything, you know what I’m saying?" Deniro asked XXL in a recent interview. He continued, "Having a label behind me, there’s so much structure to it, it’s dope. I’m just learning to sit back and be a student. I was trying to control everything, because I was so used to doing that shit, being independent, having control over a lot. I’m still learning and shit, even listening to everything."
The leak features Montreal native and producer Lunice, with a typically dark sound and some chopped & screwed vocals.
