Atlanta singer Demo Taped is just 18 years old, but he’s already cultivated a distinct sound. He uses his singing talents to create futuristic bedroom pop, and usually throws in some rapping as well. However, on this track with LA electronic duo RKCB, Demo Taped keeps things smooth with just singing.
“Open Arms” is a lovely pop song, similar to but less dance-driven than Majid Jordan’s debut album. RKCB’s vocalist and Demo Taped harmonize perfectly on the track, while the synths, bass and quirky sample almost force you to nod your head.
