Demi Lovato's 2018 did not go as she planned. The "Sober" singer ended her sobriety streak and weeks later was found unconscious from an overdose in her Hollywood home. After being released from the hospital she went straight to rehab and has since been released. With 2019 underway, Demi has taken to Instagram to share a few words on her resolutions for the new year.
"So grateful for the lessons I've learned this year. I will never take another day in life for granted, even the bad ones. Thankful for my fans, friends, family and everyone who supported me throughout this year. God bless," she wrote.

At the top of the month, Demi shared a number of tweets directed at the media and the false reports that are going around. "I love my fans, and hate tabloids. Don’t believe what you read. People will literally make up stuff to sell a story. Sickening," she wrote.
"Someday I’ll tell the world what exactly happened, why it happened and what my life is like today.. but until I’m ready to share that with people please stop prying and making up shit that you know nothing about. I still need space and time to heal," she added.
