Last month Demi Lovato released her latest single "Sober" that revealed to her many fans that she had relapsed after six years of sobriety. Unfortunately, the news of no longer being sober has taken a turn for the worst since reports from TMZ say the 25-year-old singer was rushed to the hospital today after suffering what appears to be a heroin overdose.
The publication says Demi was at her Hollywood Hills home and was transported to the ER just before noon today. She is currently being treated but her condition is unknown.
When Demi revealed her truth to the world, her good friend Iggy Azalea responded to the matter saying she was protective of her friend and how the world would react. "And I worried a lot, as her friend, that something was going to leak or somebody would somehow take that and use it negatively against her, or to make her seem like she's got a secret," she said.
"It's not my business to say to my friend, 'You need to fess up.' But as a friend, you worry and you're like, 'Oh, my God, my friend, she has this thing that people can use against her and I really want her to own it.' And she did!"
