Death Grips, the experimental, rap-influenced trio made up of vocalist MC Ride, drummer and producer Zach Hill, and engineer Andy Morin, have released their sixth studio album Year Of The Snitch. Their first project in 2 years, following 2016's Bottomless Pit, was announced in March, and teased with a curious collaboration with Shrek director and composer Andrew Adamson (he contributes spoken word to "Dilemma"). The album features the noisy, industrial, sound design, and confrontational raps found on their previous material. Additional credits come from DJ Swap (Turntables), Justin Chancellor of Tool (Bass), and Lucas Abella (Electronics, Noise).

The album was preceded by a number of song releases including "Dilemma," "Shitshow," "Flies" and "Black Paint."
