A year ago season one of Netflix's Dear White People was released, and for those who binged watched the whole volume one, the second installment is finally closer than ever. The trailer for the next round of episodes has been released and it looks like this season will dive into more subjects than the first. We're talking black lesbians, conspiracy theories, black Scientology, Jesus, slavery, weed, The Sunken Place, fake news, oppression, cultural appropriation, sex and gender norms, nepotism, racist bots, and lots more.

The series is based on the 2014 movie that follows a group of Black students who attend post-secondary, filled with mostly white students. They face a number of social injustices that force them to put their foot down.

Peep the trailer below and catch the official release on May 4th on Netflix.
