Deadpool doesn't necessarily take the world around him very seriously. The Merc with the mouth is like a more ruthless version of Spider-Man... he just can't keep his mouth shut. Another thing Deadpool and Spidey have in common is the fact that they will both be battling Josh Brolin in the upcoming weeks (Brolin plays Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War and Cable in Deadpool 2). While Peter Parker yearns to be a team player though, Deadpool doesn't usually get along well with others. Which is why we're excited to see him assemble the X-Force in the upcoming film. Since it has already been confirmed that X-Force will be showing up, it makes an exclusive still from the film (published by Empire) a very strange sight.
In the picture from the film, Deadpool rocks a yellow and black X-Men shirt. Behind him stands X-Men members Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead in a street full of flames. The fourth wall breaking mercenary is most likely forced to put the shirt on by Colossus, who was attempting to get him to join the team in the last film. Instead of losing his signature red costume though, it looks like he just hastily throws on the X-Men t-shirt as a joke.
Deadpool 2 hit theaters on May 18.
