The film is inching closer to its theatrical release.
Deadpool 2 is gearing up for its debut in theatres by releasing a final trailer ahead of its May 18 debut. The title character admits that he has formed a "super duper fucking group" to combat the forces of evil that will cause strife for the superhero and his band of misfits.
The trailer features Reynolds alongside Zazie Beetz's Domino and T.J. Miller's Weasel as the three try to take down the imminently robust Cable, played by Josh Brolin.
Cable and Deadpool exchange some particularly humorous jabs at one another, with the villain referring to his foul mouthed opponent as "a clown dressed up as a sex toy," causing Reynolds to retort with "are you sure you're not from the DC Universe?"
The clip also introduces Peter, played by Rob Delaney, who is looking to become part of Deadpool's X-Force team. When probed as to what superpower he would bring to the proceedings, Peter admits he has none and is just responding to an ad he had seen.
