The other week for Valentine's Day De La Soul decided to let go their entire catalogue for free download via their website. That alone was generous enough, but when some fans didn't receive their download in a timely manner, De La Soul offered an apology in song-form for that, "Sorry/Thank You."
Today we hear from the crew yet again, as they pay homage to legendary producer J. Dilla, with the aptly-titled "Dilla Plugged In", where they spit over a laid-back, piano-driven Dilla beat. Listen as they "capture the essence of Dilla with this plugged tune."
The group has three upcoming efforts, they will be dropping the Dilla-produced mixtape Smell The DA.I.S.Y. as well as Premiem Soul On The Rocks produced by Pete Rock & DJ Premier, finally they have an album on the way titled You’re Welcome.
