Snoop Dogg and Daz Dillinger are coming together for a joint album, Cuzznz. Joint projects are particularly en vogue right now, but there's no questioning the chemistry between these two West Coast OGs. Here's the second new track, "Best Friend," off the upcoming album, following the Dam-Funk-produced "Sho You Right," released at the end of October.
"Best Friend" is another modern spin on the g-funk sound. The title refers not to Daz & Snoop themselves but to the best friends of the girls with whom they are messing. Obviously, nothing good can come of getting in the middle of a woman's friend circle, but sometimes the temptation can't be resisted. The late-night sounds here are also irresistible, and it's looking like Cuzznz is going to be a special project.
