In the last 12 months, Dave East has separated himself from the pack of promising young New York rappers and established himself as one of the most consistent emcees in the country. In the last month he dropped his Born Broke, Die Rich EP with Kur and the admittedly weird loosie "All Summer." This afternoon he returned with a new track called "Last Ones Left."
On "Last Ones Left," East joins forces with Bronx rapper Don Q and producers Buda & Grandz, with whom he has worked on and off. The song treats the rap game as a war of attrition, and East is determined to be the last one standing.
