The original version of Danny Brown's "Contra" first appeared on Hassaan Mackey and Apollo Brown's House Shoes Daily Bread mixtape. This new version (which features an unheard verse from Danny) will be included as a bonus track on his upcoming reissue of the 2008 mixtape Hot Soup.
The track will actually live on a bonus 7" to be included with the vinyl version of the album, alongside another Danny rarity called "Radiohead".
The 20-track project will be available April 15th through Street Corner Music.
The project will be part of the annual celebration of Record Store Day, and may be a limited pressing, so make sure to pick it up while you can.
